About Us

We are an initiative to map the community assets of Diepsloot and make the information available to Corporates, NGO’s and Government departments with interests in the community.

The initiative was inspired by Voice of Kibera and was suggested as an opportunity for Diepsloot by Jennifer from Sticky Situations.

The Map currently consists of a single layer for Urban Agriculture within and around Diepsloot, however, future iterations will steadily build layers for many other community assets and services.

The Diepsloot Mapping project is being completed by the Diepsloot KasiHive, with funding and support via the Wot-If? Trust, and coached by Global Innovation Resources.
